Czech Policie Special Units
The Police of the Czech Republic are showcasing special units with specific operational roles. Never before have these units been presented together in one location. The exhibition will feature the following units, along with their gear and equipment:
- Rapid Response Unit (URNA): Specializes in counter-terrorism, rescuing large numbers of hostages, and resolving barricade situations. It operates throughout the Czech Republic and participates in missions abroad.
- Intervention Unit: Focuses on operations against dangerous offenders and handling high-risk situations within the region.
- Special Riot Unit: Focuses on maintaining order during large-scale events (high-risk gatherings, demonstrations, high-risk sporting matches) and conducting search operations.
- Foreign Police Mobile Unit: Focuses on border protection during the implementation of border controls, as well as detecting illegal migration and human smuggling.
- Nuclear Power Plant Protection Unit: Primarily tasked with intervening against potential intruders breaching the plant's security perimeter; it also assists the region as an intervention unit.
- First Response Unit: Its primary mission is rapid, first-response intervention in high-priority incidents.
