ExcelSense Technologies designs and manufactures rugged, maintenance-free, self-cleaning optical sensors and optical shields for LiDARs and cameras operating in the world’s most extreme environments.
Our technology supports harsh-environment sensing systems—including unmanned and autonomous platforms, situational awareness systems, and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) applications—where contamination can degrade or disable critical optical sensors.
Unlike conventional solutions, ExcelSense’s multi-patented, award-winning technology actively removes abrasive dust, mud, oil, molten asphalt, and crystallized salt without requiring water, detergents, compressed air, or manual maintenance for the lifetime of the sensor.
Our ruggedized systems feature IP69-sealed hardware designed to withstand severe Arctic and desert climates, repeated contamination, and extreme mechanical stress, including continuous vibration of 30–70 G and spikes up to 200 G.
By ensuring persistent optical clarity in harsh conditions, ExcelSense enables reliable sensing and mission-critical vision where conventional systems fail.
ExcelSense is enhancing the availability, survivability, and resilience of defence platforms by:
Uniquely Enabling Unmanned Systems (UxS)
Providing persistently clear perception for autonomous land, air, and sea assets by ensuring that cameras and LiDAR sensors remain clear through dust, mud, and salt, thereby reducing mission aborts.
Enhancing Tactical Vehicle and Personnel Survivability
Enabling continuous “closed-hatch” operations for armoured vehicles and personnel carriers in high-dust and mud environments, eliminating the need for soldiers to dismount to manually clean optical sensors.
Securing Remote Infrastructure & ISR
Supporting Arctic and border sovereignty through persistent, maintenance-free remote surveillance in extreme cold and blowing snow where standard equipment fails.
Providing Logistics-Light Deployments
Eliminating the need for support infrastructure like water/detergent tanks and compressors, resulting in lower signatures and fewer resupply trips to forward-operating positions.
Ensuring AI Data Reliability
Maintaining high-fidelity sensor input to ensure reliable sensor fusion and the consistent performance of autonomy and targeting software.
HQH SYSTEM spol. s r.o. was founded in 1993 and since then it has become a successful and serious player
both on the Czech market and abroad in the field of security and military technology business.
In the course of time, the range of products and special equipment offered has increased to such extent that it
became necessary to create specialized branches which cover not only a commercial sphere, but especially the
sphere of special law-enforcement, security and military technologies and equipment for government
institutions.
Our TACTICAL and SECURITY branch supplies up-to-date equipment to the Ministry of Interior an Ministry of
Defense of the Czech and Slovak Republics for law-enforcement, intelligence, criminal-investigation and similar
agencies as well as for special police and army units.
Czech company with focus on Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance management, Intel Cycle and comprehensive integrated modular solutions in area of Electronic Warfare, Countermeasures and Anti-drone solutions.
JISR Institute, a.s. shall demonstrate the integration of ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) and EW (Electronic Warfare) systems within the NATO environment. The demonstration combines data from different data sources such as CESMO (Co-operative Electronic Support Measures Operations), Link 16 via JREAP-C (The Joint Range Extension Applications Protocol) or ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast). Data are collected, aggregated and fused into C-EOB (Common Electronic Order of Battle) which is shared within ISR enterprise via CSD (Coalition Shared Database), resp. NSILI (NATO Standard ISR Library Interface). The resulting EW information is fused in the ISR environment with information from other intelligence branches such as imagery (IMINT) and the resulting ISR products are shared among allied partners.
CESMO, one of the main EW integration protocols, is developed by NATO to enable rapid sharing, fusion and dissemination of Electronic Support Measures (ESM) derived information. CESMO enables coordination and fusion of data from the electromagnetic spectrum sensors, across an agile tactical network. CESMO is standardized as STANAG 4658 and AEDP-13 which defines the processes and standardized message set to enable rapid data and information sharing.
The object of NSILI, aka as CSD is to promote interoperability for the exchange of NATO ISR products. NSILI/CSD provides a standard interface for publishing, querying, accessing and synchronisation heterogeneous ISR product libraries maintained by NATO and Nations. CSD is also used as final storage for AGS (Alliance Ground Surveillance) data and information.

NEBESA is developing a European platform for suborbital flight, with the long-term ambition of reaching orbit. Combining jet and rocket propulsion, our aircraft is designed to operate from conventional airports and support research, civilian and military missions at high altitudes, at supersonic speeds and in microgravity. We bring together aerospace engineers, rocket specialists and software experts determined to aim higher and strengthen Europe’s independent aerospace capabilities. From Czech hands to the heavens. (And preferably back.) For an independent and secure Europe.
Noontide Systems develops onboard perception, tracking and guidance software for UAVs and loitering munitions. Our systems run directly on the aircraft and are built to operate reliably in real-world conditions, including when communication or navigation links are degraded. We work closely with UAV manufacturers to turn autonomy research into systems tailored to our clients’ requirements, ready for testing, integration and deployment in operational environments. We welcome new collaborations and projects in the defence sector. Get in touch to explore how we can work together.

Zuri is a Czech aircraft company building a long-range uncrewed cargo VTOL for defense and civil logistics: helicopter access with fixed-wing range, hybrid-electric and remotely piloted.
It fills the missing middle of the sky. Small drones carry a few kilograms a few dozen kilometers and need power at both ends of the route. Helicopters move tonnes at high cost per flight hour, with a crew exposed on every routine run. In between, a hundred-plus kilograms across hundreds of kilometers, onto ground with no runway, today goes by convoy, by boat, or waits.
The aircraft carries 100+ kg over 679 km by design, or 569 km with a full 30-minute reserve, cruises at 220 km/h, and lands on a pad, a deck, or open ground. A generator makes the electricity in flight, so range is set by tank size and payload, and refueling takes minutes on AVGAS, automotive gasoline, or bioethanol. Nothing new is built at either end: no runway, no vertiport, no charging installation. One operator flies it from the ground, with no one on board for the leg that carries the risk, at a fraction of a crewed helicopter's operating cost per kilogram-kilometer. Between resupply tasks, the same airframe carries the sensors and communications a mission needs.
The aircraft is ITAR-free, designed and built in the EU on a sovereign European supply base. More than fifteen aircraft have flown since 2018, all designed, built, and flown in-house in Prague. Technology Demonstrator 2.0, the full-scale demonstrator the cargo aircraft is built on, is in systems integration and ground test, with flight testing planned to begin in 2027.
