History
International exhibitions of battlefield and individual combat equipment for soldiers from the member states of NATO, the PfP programme and Mediterranean Dialogue have been held every 3 years since 1985. The first exhibition took place in Portugal, and subsequent ones were in France (1988), Great Britain (1991), Canada (1994) and Norway (1997). Representatives of the commercial sector did not participate at the exhibitions until the NATO CCPE 2000 event in Prague, which was held with the support of individual NATO member countries. The new concept became a big success with the exhibitors and the professional community, and this led to the next event, NATO EXHIBITION Slovakia 2003. On the basis of a guarantee from the Ministry of Defence of Czech Republic to host the event, the beautiful city of Prague has become the home base for the Future Soldier project.
