On behalf of the Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic, we would like to invite you to participate in the 8th edition of the International Military Exhibition & Conference FUTURE SOLDIER Czech Republic 2008, focused on NATO countries and member nations of Partnership for Peace Program and the Mediterranean Dialogue. This project follows the successful events NATO CCPE '00 and NATO CCIE '03 and is organised under the aegis of the National Armaments Director. It will be held in time 16th - 18th October '08 at showgrounds PVA Letnany, Prague. Professional guarantiee: Association of Defence Industry of the Czech Republic, Association of Guns and Ammunition Manufacturers and Sellers.

The uniqueness of this event subsides in the vocational one-topic Conference consisting of high ranking local and international military officers (delegation/representatives), and above all, in the annual NATO AC/225 (LCG/1 – CCIEP) meeting in Prague, held right at time the Exhibition. FUTURE SOLDIER brings together small and medium-size companies and the major international manufacturers to meet with the key military and government decision makers from NATO and Partner nations by form of both national and commercial expositions.

Today, nine months before exhibition, we have a pleasure in informing you that already thirteen countries gave an indication to participate (Armenia, Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovak Republic, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom) We also received quite hundred exposition requests from nineteen countries.

Please, let us acquiant you with the situation of lead time activities in FUTURE SOLDIER:

  • NATO HQ Brussels, Belgium – event presentation on the CNAD Exhibition during Conference of National Armaments Directors (CNAD)
  • Milipol '07, Paris, France – event presentation on the worldwide exhibition of Internal State security
October / November '07
  • UK Defence Industry representative's visit the Prague, confirmation of the UK Defence Industry companies collective participation
  • Showgrounds PVA Letnany visited by Czech military representatives
December '07
  • Link-up with the European Defence Agency (EDA) on the attendant program preparation
  • New possibility for the accomodation ordering and the individual papers registration on official FUTURE SOLDIER website
